Pecan Wood and aging - 2010/02/02 21:55I have a pecan tree in my yard that is about to be removed. I would like to smoke with it, but am curious about the length of time needed to age the wood.
1 mth, 6 mths, a year? Anyone have any suggestions?
I am in Austin TX, oak and mesquite are everywhere, but a pecan flavor sounds good for a nice change.
