Winter Cooking!
I am living up here in the Midwest and it is starting to get really freezing outside. I was hoping to connect with some other people that are familiar with smoking in the freezing cold. It is definitely no easy task but it sure is fun when you get the finished product.

I love my BBQ in the winter time. It will be a few more weeks before the real cold comes our way but I am not going to stop barbecuing. For Xmas I have one of my brothers driving up from Texas with his bad ass smoker. We are going to making some of the best Texas style BBQ and we do not plan on letting the weather affect us.

I sure as hell am not going to let a little cold prevent me from having the BBQ I love so much. Actually I live in sunny south Florida and it does not really get cold here. I grill right on through the winter no matter what.

Winter time BBQ is great. If it gets too cold to handle working the BBQ then just give your good friend Jack Daniels a call and he will warm you up no problem. He will help you stick it out when it is really unbearable outside.

re:Winter Cooking!
It was so damn hot this summer that I can hardly wait for the winter. We have been cooking our Q on the concrete most of the summer so now the real season will begin!

re:Winter Cooking!
I was never much into smoking until recently so I have no idea what its like to do so in the extreme cold. However I have always had no problem with grilling in the cold.

re:Winter Cooking!
I just got myself a smoker over the summer so I have never had the pleasure to experience using it in the winter. This Xmas we are going to have smoked something no matter what. No snow will stop me from making what I love. It would suck if you dropped it in the snow, especially the yellow or brown kind!!!

Forget the Jack Daniels. Give some fresh Canadian whiskey a try. It is made for the cold weather. It will surely prevent your blood from stopping moving.

re:Winter Cooking!
Winter in Canada is the worst. Last winter there were many days where the temperature was negative 30 degrees and over 14 feet of snowfall total. I would love to trade with anyone of you further south. I love to smoke cheese in the winter months. It is so yummy!

re:Winter Cooking!
I can not even begin to imagine what a whole winter in Canada must be like. I am sure I would not like it. I live in KC and that is cold enough for me. We do however get some days where it will be colder here then in Canada. This is when the jet stream dips way down south.
