BBQ Grill Cover & Propane Gauge
I bought a grill and cover about 4 months ago. I live in NV and unfortunately the sun heat has already started to disintegrate the BBQ cover. Does anyone know of a grill cover that can withstand the sun heat?
Also, I have one of those propane gauges that sticks to the side of the tank by magnet. Evidentally, those gauges work by changes in temp. It didn`t work due to the NV heat so I ran out of propane and the gauge didn`t move. Does anyone know of a propane gauge that works on flow instead of temp changes?

magnetic and attached to the side of the tank. It apparently changed colors based of the temperature differential between the empty area and the area that still had gas. It did an adequate job.
What about buying a cheap scale? Run the tank dry, weigh it, refill it and set the tank on it. You should be able to get a decent guesstimate of when you`re running low.

propane tanks that I`ve seen. Look for the number after the letters "TW" (tare weight).

having an extra tank is the only. Around here the chisling gas refill merchants try to nab you for an extra $5 when they fill a new tank-if they start that crap with you-tell them it has been refilled before. The $5 is supposedly to "flush out the air"-such bs-filled two new tanks without flushing and no problems.
