Thousand Island Dressing
Loved the recipes for the dressings. Does anyone have a good one for Thousand Island Dressing? Cristine

Re:Thousand Island Dressing
I got this recipe from a small "Mom and Pop Diner" in Texas, I personally don`t care for 1000 Island, but many friends have said it is one of the best they have had.
Thousand Island Dressing
2 cups mayonnaise 2 tbs. tomato paste ( more if needed) 2 tbs. balsamic vinegar 1/4 cup onion 1/4 cup sweet pickle 1/4 cup dill pickle 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp black pepper
Combine all ingredients and Mix Well, Add a touch of milk to reach the desired consistency.--You will be surprised at how good this simple recipe is.
