"Smoked" soup

I got this idea to put some smoked ingredients into the soup and it was great.
You can use smoked tomatoes, carrots, onions etc, just don't burn the vegetables.

Sounds good to me. Maybe I will use tin foil to keep the vegs juices.

I wonder if it is possible with chicken parts as well ? it can give the winter chicken soup a nice twist.

It can be nice to add to beans soup some pieces of smoked beef too.
