Weber grills

Hello. I am new to this forum. I am looking to buy a Weber grill. I've done a lot of research and it tells me that this is one of the best grills on the market. However, I am wondering if anyone knows the main differences between the Weber Spirit E310 and the Weber Genesis E-310. From what I have read the Spirit is just a tad smaller. But, costs 200 dollars less. Any opinions on this?
    Thanks

    Weber grills

Hi Fordanjen, welcome to the forum I think the size is the only difference. Size is important if you are cooking since it can serve (in one time) less or more people

Yeah, Cajun is right about this one. The biggest difference between the two is size, though the Weber Genesis has maybe a few more features. If you're gonna just be cooking a few burgers now and then the Spirit will be fine for you. If you're planning on throwing a few parties or something, the Genesis or even bigger is a better bet. They will both last about the same time, which is a long time. All the Weber's are great for durability.

The spirit series has a steel construction with removable plastic work surface. The Genesis series has a Stainless Steel work sufaces, painted enamel hood and doors, 42,000 btu for 507inch grilling area compaired to 36,000 btu for 424inch grilling are on Spirit. That makes the Genesis a little less btu per sq inch of cooking area. A little cooler but not much.

Post edited by: coolhotsauces, at: 2009/11/22 19:36
