    BBQ

This weekend I wound up being a little bit busier then I expected and therefore was unable to grill what I wanted to. Today I made some brisket with a great injection made of Olive oil and whisky. I made some nice brisket that I let cool down after and then sliced it up for sandwiches. You can just heat it up afterwards in the microwave and it comes out fairly moist and juicy like I like it. I used a mop with some Jack Daniels in it as well. This injection works great for those of you who will store the leftovers after it is done cooking.

I have never used an injector before but I really want to get one for myself. JD is one of my favorites to use with meat. It always brings out a nice taste. I think whisky; especially JD is a must for any brisket.

I really like that idea of injecting whisky into the brisket. Sounds like it would taste great. Maybe if I use enough of it I can get a buzz while I eat my BBQ.

Can you tell me what measurements you used to make the injection? I mean how much whisky did you use?

Great damn idea. I am going to have to try this one. Sounds great to me as well.
