Hi there.
I have 2 sets of grills : and old fashion coal grill and a new one runs by gas.
I use them both but I prefer using the coals as this in my opinion the really joy of BBQ.
I have a friend who uses only a gas and think it is better and we always argue about it.
So what do you use ?

Im in a dire situation: our Property Manager just "outlawed" any use of propane barbecues on the property. I quickly gave away my favuorite gas barbecue to a friend.
Now, we are only allowed to use eletcric appilances on the decks, however, i now can't find anywhere in Toronto a decvent electric grill/babrecue.

All of you out there with trailer pits should remember to have them checked.
Especially their bearings. The seals blew of mine and I had to get that fixed.

Hi all, I took the judging course at Molalla and have not heard from the KCBS yet. This was a month ago and also their newsletter did not arrive via post, so I am afraid I got lost in their system? I really want to try for a judge in Vegas, any ideas with whom I should talk?
Foil on Forman Frill?

I bought a used George Forman grill and I think they wiped the thing off so often, there is no non-stick surface left. My hamburgs are sticking to it. Can I place a small piece of foil between the top and bottom, hamburger inbetween and cook it that way? To me it would be like grilling outside? Or would that damage it?

Hi everybody. Nice group you have. I will be buying a gas range for my home. I cooked with gas all my lfe until 15 years ago when I moved to an area where gas was not available.
I feel sure there are many new features with gas ranges today that were not available when I bought my last one in the 70`s. Perhaps some of you can suggest what I should look for. I have learned about sealed burne

I thought...what the hell $99 for a gas grill that I`ll use occasionally for steaks, burgers, hot dogs and the like. Not a bad deal. Enough room and BTUs to cook for 4 comfortably.
Well, "Quickset" my butt! I had to make THREE phone calls to get all the WORKING parts. I guess you get what you pay for.
First call to Customer Service I get some "order taker" who didn`t even ask for a model

I bought a grill and cover about 4 months ago. I live in NV and unfortunately the sun heat has already started to disintegrate the BBQ cover. Does anyone know of a grill cover that can withstand the sun heat?
Also, I have one of those propane gauges that sticks to the side of the tank by magnet. Evidentally, those gauges work by changes in temp. It didn`t work due to the NV heat so I ran

I`ve got a few big bags of pellets left over from when we sold out pellet stove -- I hated it and sold it after just one season... nuthin` beats burning wood!!!
Anyway... I picked up a few small bags of pellets (for smokin` in the gas grill) at Wal*Mart and they look & smell just like the pellets for the `ol pellet stove. Safe to use for smoking?

Wally`s world has Smithfield hams, fully cooked in the 20-25# range at very reasonable prices-same as their price on fresh shoulder. Just wonder what a cooked ham would be like smoked for 8 - 10 hours in a 225F offset smoker. Will also put a dry rub on it.
If anybody has tried this-let me know-will provide feedback after smoking mine.
